Interface

The interface keeps the active task at the center while navigation, Git state, and supporting tools remain within reach. Build a layout around the work instead of switching between separate applications.

SurfaceBest for
Left sidebarSwitching workspaces, projects, worktrees, and feature areas
Main viewChats, terminals, files, diffs, browsers, and other focused tools
Right panelTask context, changed files, review threads, scripts, and Git state
TabsKeeping related tools in one view
Split panesComparing or operating two tools at once
Picture in PictureKeeping a live task visible above other windows

Every workspace restores its tabs, splits, sidebar state, and floating windows. A task can therefore keep its own working arrangement even when you move between projects.

  • Pair a chat with a diff while an agent implements feedback.
  • Keep a terminal beside a browser preview while you test a UI.
  • Pin a long-running agent in Picture in Picture while you work elsewhere.
  • Use the right panel to move from changed files to review and the next Git action.
